Fishing at Springbok

Springbok FisherySpringbok FisheryWithin the grounds is a small fishing lake that offers a varied species of fish, these include Ghost, Common & Leather Carp up to 16lb+, Crucian, Roach, Rudd, Perch and Tench. The quality and condition of all fish is of a high standard and offers good sport to all levels of anglers .

As we are very keen to ensure that the fish are looked after we have rules that must be adhered to and these can be found below.

Rules:
1. Only barbless hooks to be used. (Maximum size 10)
2. Landing net is required.
3. No Keep Nets.
5. Take all rubbish home.
6. Please use toilets located by camp - site.
7. Car park is located behind black shed, no parking in residents spaces.

10. No Fires or BBQ's
11. No noisy bite detectors or radios.
12. All anglers are expected to respect other lake users, residents and staff, plus the surroundings at all times.
13. Any breach of these rules will lead to permit being revoked

The Cranleigh Angling and Wey Valley Disabled Angling Associations use the waters for competitions throughout the year.

The Cranleigh Angling Association has been established since 1927 and has waters in and around Cranleigh, Surrey; between Guildford and Horsham. More information on the club can be found at www.cranleighangling.co.uk

The Wey Valley Disabled Anglers Association was formed in 1985 and became a registered charity in March 1986. The association, founded by disabled anglers for both disabled and able-bodied helper anglers, provides fishing and fishing competitions for our disabled and able-bodied members alike and promotes Disabled Angling wherever possible.
